Canna ‘Abricôté’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; purple foliage, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, apricot-orange with an orange blush, throat orange-red, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, labellum is apricot-orange streaked with orange, petals red, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in July until frosts in northern temperate zone, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type.

Mentioned in the 1898-9 RHS Journal, and Ian Cooke mentions it in passing in his book.
