Canna ‘Pringle Bay’ is a small Italian Group cultivar; variegated foliage, oval shaped, spreading habit; flowers are open, self-coloured pink, staminodes are large, edges irregular, petals red with farina, fully self-cleaning, low bloomer, flowers in August until frosts in northern temperate zone, blooms open in the early morning; seed is sterile, pollen is fertile; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is slow.
A true dwarf canna, with attractive, delicate, pale pink flowers. However, its main attraction is the brightly variegated foliage, green, bronze and pink.
Only about 40cm in height. One of the shortest Cannas.
